The Invasion
Their eyes met as they floated through the stomach of the great insect. Oh, right, yeah: great insects had taken over the planet. They lived in a near-future where a portal to heck was ripped open in the middle of downtown Detroit – or at least they had done, anyway, until a great insect ate them, chowing them down into bits. The great insect was like a cockroach-cum-cricket, only the size of a big bridge. It was a shame, too, because they would have totally hit it off, had they been alive and undigested. Kind of a huge shame.
